One day you think you know where you come from and who you are. Then, bam! Your true identity pulls the rug out from under you.  I made it nearly 30 years thinking I was my parent's biological daughter. We had the typical family photos, memories, all of it. Except it was all a lie. The best-kept secret.  Can you imagine finding out you were adopted like that? Just out of the blue, days after your mom passes? I found an unmarked envelope while cleaning out her book trunk. Inside was something that shook me to my core. My adoption papers! Not only was I adopted, but my whole family kept it secret from me for 29 years! Who knew? Did my mom tell them not to tell me? Why? I felt so betrayed. Blindsided. Lost. Like I didn't even know myself anymore. Who were my "real" parents? Why did they put me up for adoption? I had so many questions and no one to answer. I've decided to start the new venture of my home-based business Sweet Grabs. 😋  Deciding to start a business and what type of business to start has really been a challenge for me, but I believe that this is going to be my stepping stone to a Sweet financially stable place in my life. I am all types of feelings starting out on this new venture yet, my biggest feeling is wanting my own home and a lovely kitchen. I won't let not having my dream baking station stop me from getting started though. I have a big problem with letting my preparedness stop me from getting started on a lot of things in my life, but not this time!  I'm all about creating Sweet Grabs and Sweet Treats! 😋
